Delivery
We try our best to deliver all orders as soon as possible and it is likely that you will receive your order approximately 3 working days from the date you have placed and paid for the order. During busy times, the lead time may be slightly longer and delivery could take 5+ days. In any event, the order will be fulfilled within 30 days from the date of the despatch confirmation unless there are exceptional circumstances. You are welcome to contact us for a tracking No for your order. We make use of reputable national courier services to delivery our orders.
Free delivery on orders above R750.
The cost of standard delivery is R75. Outlying areas may incur additional delivery charges. All delivery fees will be displayed when you check-out.
Delivery to outlying areas may take longer than estimated.
Delivery shall always be made to the payment card-holder’s address.
Current delivery charges will be displayed at the checkout and included in your total order amount.
Deliveries and offers on our website are available to RSA residents only
Please ensure that you are available, during working hours, at your nominated delivery address, to accept the parcel. Failure to do so may result in delivery delays or additional delivery charges for you. You may allow someone else to accept your parcel on your behalf, but should someone other than yourself sign for your parcel, we accept that you have nominated this person to receive the parcel on your behalf and their signature will be accepted by us as sufficient proof of delivery. The risk associated to the delivery of any parcel, transfers to the recipient on signing the delivery note.
Risk and Title
The products will be at your risk from the time of delivery. Please ensure that either you or your nominated signatory is available during working hours, at your nominated delivery address to accept and sign for the delivery. It’s important to endorse the courier’s waybill as “RECEIVED BUT NOT CHECKED”. This allows you to open the parcel and check for possible damage during transit. Should the courier’s waybill not be endorsed in this manner, the courier may accept that there was no damage upon receipt of the delivery and may reject possible claims
Our site contains a large number of products and it is always possible, despite our best efforts, that some of the products listed may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our despatch procedures so that, where a product’s correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when despatching the product to you. If a product’s correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before despatching the product, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection and arrange for a full refund if you have already paid.
We are under no obligation to provide the product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a Payment Confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious, unmistakable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a mis-pricing
Should a product be out of stock after you have placed and paid for your order, we will either ask you if we can replace with a similar product or arrange for a full refund.
Payment for all products must be by South African credit / debit card or EFT and charged in ZAR. Card transactions will be acquired for Gift Mania via Yoco who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. Yoco uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Customer details will be stored by Gift Mania separately from card details which are entered by the client on Yoco’s secure site. Cancelling an order before dispatch
If you change your mind after placing an order, you may cancel the full order anytime before the order is dispatched and we will refund the full amount paid. Please contact us via email with your order reference number, name and contact details so that we can cancel your order.
Where your order consists of a number of products, and you wish to cancel a part of the order only, please do so before the order is dispatch. Please also ensure that your order, without the cancelled item, still meets the minimum order value, as a delivery fee may be added and deducted from the payment due to you.
Cancelling an order after dispatch
We are unable to cancel any order once the order has been despatched. To cancel the order after this time, you must follow the procedures as stated under our Refunds Policy and Changed my mind terms and conditions.
To cancel an order, you must inform us in writing. You must also return the product(s) to us immediately, unused, un-opened, complete, and in the same condition in which you received them, and at your own cost and risk. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the products while they are in your possession. Where the product is an item such as footwear, taking reasonable care includes (without limitation) not wearing the product and not opening the see-through, sealed packaging of the product. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may hold you responsible for the costs of the product and or other fees encountered.
This provision does not affect your statutory rights. For further information on your statutory rights, please seek advice.
Our Refunds Policy
If you wish to return products to us, please follow instructions on our return policy page. You must return the products by a means protected by insurance, covering the value of the products and by a method that requires a signature from us to acknowledge our receipt of the returned products
Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Gift Mania chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature. Gift Mania may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
Our Liability
We warrant that any product purchased from us through our site is of satisfactory quality and reasonably fit for all the purposes for which products of the kind are commonly supplied and will remain so for a period of 48 hours from the date of delivery.
Our liability for losses you suffer as a result of us breaking this agreement is strictly limited to the purchase price of the product you purchased.
This does not exclude or limit in any way our liability:
- For death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- For fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or for any matter for which it would be illegal for us to exclude, or attempt to exclude, our liability.
We are not responsible for indirect losses which happen as a side effect of the main loss or damage.
Customer Privacy Policy
Gift Mania shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).
